Rook make sure you are eating healthy meals and snacks. Get as much protein as you can with eggs, nuts/seeds, fish and chicken. If you can add a protein shake as a pre-workout snack.

When I started doing a 20 minute cardio every morning before I ate breakfast, I saw a huge difference in the fat burning area. Not to mention I had more stamina and energy all day. I don't know if this works for everyone, but it does the trick for me. After my strength training in the evening I drink a protein shake and then a light dinner like grilled chicken salad or something like that.

It is best to do both strenght/toning and fat burning cardio. More muscle means burning fat faster!
