Could never keep a hoop going as a kid, so not my idea of fun at all, but it does sound like a decent workout for those that want to try something completely different, and it's something you can keep hidden behind a chair ready for when your favourite soap begins I wonder if it really does burn 600 cals, and what weight person they were basing that figure on.

Now in our journals we can put, 60 hoops, and not an abdominal crunch in sight. I have to admit, I have seen some amazing things done with a hoop and wonder how they do it, since, like I say, I never could spin one not even once. Anyone else here ever successfully used the hoola hoop?
