I trained Tae Kwon Do in high school and college and now spend almost all of my free time (outside of work) doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. At my academy we offer Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts as well as Judo and Wrestling in addition to BJJ. I like to participate in all of these. At first I was a little intimidated when I would see women fighting who looked really tough. But now that I understand the arts I have a greater appreciation for the techniques and skills involved. It's not just about someone getting beat up. A good fight is a beautiful thing.
I love BJJ the most because you can train hard full speed every class without fear of injury. I love being able to best a guy bigger and stronger than me. It's the best feeling!

Lol!
