as it turns out my new schedule realistically only leaves room for two workouts a week although I'd planned on three. Practice is always a bit different than theory. It's the best I can do without wearing myself out balancing everything right now (which I think is why I stopped working out regularly in November - 3-4 times a week just wasn't sustainable for me). I'm struggling with being kind to myself about paring back, so that I don't just give up. Most of me thinks two times a week is useless so why even bother? But it is better than nothing at all. I'm hoping that as I get into it, several months down the road I'll feel more able to prioritize another day of the week. I do afterall walk at least an hour a day because of the dogs and then I'm on my feet most of the rest of the day for work...
so, next workout day: tomorrow afternoon. swimming plus weights and I'll have to rethink the accompanying strength workout since I'd better do a full body routine instead of rotating regions if I'm just doing it twice a week...
