I have a home gym, which has done me proud over the last 7 years, got to where I am now:
Sticky yoga mat (for any slippery positions needed)
Exercise ball (stability ball: used in place of a bench)
Weights (dumbbells only: 5kg, 3kg, 4kg, and an adjustable set that can go up to 20kg)
Aerobic step (Reebok)
Skipping rope (used infrequently)
extras:
stopwatch (much needed)
nose-clip (for those all-important apnea sessions)
large clock, with second hand (used when doing Tabata, 'cos I can view it directly across room)
