no not really my idea of fun that...

I tried oatmeal bread once and toasted it, except it was still 'damp' or stodgy/heavy would be a better way to describe it; it was homemade, so healthy enough, but it seems oat bread retains a lot of moisture even when toasted. But, after much perseverance I found a way to eat oats as a healthy meal minus the sugar you'd get in the cookies.
