Skip To My Mini, My Darling!

Hey girls, miss me?

I've been offline for quite a while. Nothing extraordinary going on just trying to keep off my butt and get moving. I've also incorporated a lot more into my days, my organic veggie garden is looking gorgeous and I have great plans for home grown herbs and fruit and veg to help keep my food intake as clean as possible (and cheap as possible!)

I have a new love in my life, which is *BOOM*BOOM! A skipping rope! Wow! (yes, this is how exciting my life is right now). LOL. But I've been skipping for a couple weeks now and I've got a definate change in shape in my ankles and calves. It's amazing the HR I get from just 60 seconds of skipping. I've become a little compulsive about it, I've started doing 60 second bursts of skipping between weight exercises. Not between sets, I'll do my three sets of15 and then do a skip. I'm not sure if it's beneficial or not so if anyone has any ideas on that I'd be grateful.

I also wear it around my waist and will have a slow skip while waiting for the sink to fill with water while washing the dishes. Or waiting for a pot to boil while cooking dinner. The soles of my feet were really sore for the first week, muscular sore not bruised sore. Like I said, this is how exciting my life is right now. LOL. It's just fun, and I enjoy having a little burst of adrenaline during the day. I've broken my 95kg plateau and am finally into the real unknown terrotity of being under 95. Hopefully into a mini skirt in summer!
