Like DeeDee said, chicken and fish are all good. Tuna is also an excellent source of protein like you said.

Nuts are another good one, although they are high in fat, it's all good fat -- fat your body needs.

Your gym buddy was right though, whey protein is the ultimate source of protein for weight loss and muscle building because it has the highest biological value (BV) and it's rich in amino acids
