It feels like the type of pain you get if you have a heavy session at the gym and don't do any stretching exercises. I always spend at least 20mins stretching after my gym sessions and also stretch after a long walk. I stopped doing any exercise for 4 or 5 days to see if it improved and it didn't.
I have taken a potassium supplement for a couple of weeks but I don't think its that because I've had issues with this before in the form of night cramps.
I'm sorry to be a bit naive but I wasn't aware there were 2 calf muscles...... apart from one on each leg!
I appreciate its tricky over the internet, I just thought someone might have experienced something similar, thanks for your help.
