Very true. And the way to assist the body in reducing fat is to do cardio because it teaches the body to utilise fat for fuel, and cardio only needs to be done every other day to accomplish this. Weight training helps because it increases muscle tissue, but not necessarily the size of the muscle for the majority of women, and muscle is more metabolically active, so uses more calories. And as WolfLady highlights, diet plays a key role, as in a sensible balanced diet, not what most women associate with the word diet, which is generally a 'crash' diet'. I think the word 'diet' sometimes has the wrong connotations in today's society.
