Fast Heart Rate
Just got through having a Cardiac Cath done b/c stress test showed blockage and along with my symptoms of a fast heart rate. They didn't find any blockages but want to put me on meds to lower my heart rate. I had a 24hr heart monitor which at one time during my sleep showed 184 HBPM so needless to say something is going on. Doc said need to lose weight( agreed) but only about 20 lbs overweight and get away from stress ( yeah right) but anyways has anyone else had this problem of a fast heat rate even when resting? My normal now seems to be around 124. I just figured maybe we should find the cause before we medicate for the unknown. I will take the meds but would like to find an answer to my problem.
