What is wrong with milk?/Flat tummy

Hi everyone..Had a friend that was visiting from out of town over for the holidays. She's a health nut..Always have been. Anyhoo long story short when she saw milk in my fridge she almost freaked out and said..Are you still drinking milk(I drink 2%) She said she stopped drinking milk about four years ago..She then starts telling me I'll never have a flat belly..ever!! if I don't leave the milk alone.. I thought milk was good for you. What happened to "Milk..Does a body good"
I wish I can remember everything she said word for word but I can't.
She said something about milk having toxins and stuff and that people who drink milk have pudgy bellies.
Does anybody else know something that i don't?
Are there any ladies/men too on here who drinks milk and have a flat belly?

although on most diets the dairy intake is usually limited! 1-2 glasses maximum a day!

Milk affects everyone differently. According to some studies everyone has some degree of lactose intolerance after infancy. Those who suffer severely from it are likely to become bloated after consuming dairy products. I drink reduced fat milk and it doesn't seem to impact me any differently than skim milk, except that it tastes better.

There is no problem with milk for those that can tolerate it, I for one have a semi-intolerance, as I call it, a bit of cheese (less than what others might eat in a day) brings me out in painful inflammations, so I avoid it generally...but I still enjoy the odd ice-cream, and Danish Blue, 'cos although it doesn't like me, I like it.

Milk also has the ability, or has been shown, to shrink fat cells...studies show that people who drink milk have lower levels of bodyfat than those who do not. I've never noticed that anyone who drinks milk, where there is no intolerance/allergy, has a bloated stomach, quite the reverse, since a friend always has milky coffee, or at least he used to, and he was stick thin, with a stomach flat as pancake.
