banana oatmeal cookies

I have been making these cookies for a little while now and I love them for breakfast or a post work out snack. They are simple. Here is a recipe, give them a try!

3 bananas (mashed)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal (i use one min quick oats)
2 tablespoons milled flax seed
2 tablespoons water

Mix it all together. let it sit for 15 min. then bake at 350 for 20 mins until tops are slightly brown.

Hope you like em! I LOVE THEM!

Talking Wow Fabulous!

I loooooove cookies! I love them even more if they're healthy! I was looking for a way to get a cookie like snack without the horrible consequences. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. I am going to try it tonight.

You could try lining a tray with silicon baking parchment, I use it for bread that may stick due to oil water mixes, and also use it as a lining for gingerbread loaves...silicon baking parchment has some element within it that means that things baked at a temperature do not stick to the paper...unlike with greaseproof paper...oh, and you don't need to grease the silicon paper, just place your cookies etc on it, and then just bake, and lift them off when they come out of the oven...everything I've ever baked on it comes away very cleanly...I wish I'd know about it earlier.
