Lightbulb Worlds Healthiest Foods

I found this Website years ago, only just remebered about it.
It called "Worlds healthiest foods" and its got this great section called Food Advisor, where you answer some questions about what you eat and it tells you what Vitamins you may not be getting enough of and what foods to eat to get it.

I really like this, only problem is it always tells me to eat more calfes liver, and there ain't no way I'm eatting that!

YUCK!
IMO there's technically healthy food and then there's what's good for each individual....and then there's healthfully raised and grown food.....it's too complicated out there for me to fall for eating an organ that filters WASTE - bleeeaaaacchhhhh!

I'd join you in refusing to eat it

The sites like the one you mentioned are always helpful, but seem to overlook one thing when they suggest people eat a certain amount of x or y, they never seem to take in to account any food allergies that people suffer...the same as health food books. Health officials are always amazed when they hear that I'm allergic to mustard...but then go on to tell me of people that are allergic to black pepper etc; but books/sites tend to recommend eating the entire range of foodstuffs, milk for one example, without taking in to account that some people are either intolerant or allergic. Apart from that, I still think they're pretty good info wise.

Liver is the most nutritious part of a body. Hunters traditionally eat the liver right after the kill. When carnivore animals kill a large animal they frequently fight over the liver; in any case it's the first to be eaten.

However, I agree I wouldn't eat liver from a CAFO animal - the waste products in such an animal would be too concerning. But I wouldn't eat any part of a CAFO animal anyway except on very rare occassions (like, visiting family for Thanksgiving, ok, I'll eat their turkey). But a pastured animal's liver is an outstanding source of protein, vitamin A, vitamin B12, many minerals and more.
