That's something I haven't had in a while. I love red apples.

What kind do you like?

I am totally with you on this one! Nighttime munchies are a huge problem for me and something I am still struggling with. I've found that "front loading" my diet during the day helps a little--basically just eating more calories in the morning/afternoon. I try to have a substantial lunch and a snack around 3-4pm to keep me from eating a ton of food for dinner (and after). And yet just the other night I found myself ravenous at 8:00 and reached for the tortilla chips and salsa...ugh. Tea and water do help, but sometimes it's extremely hard to stave off those cravings. On more than one occasion I've gone to bed early to keep myself out of the pantry!

YOu just have to do something else! As long as you think about them, they won't go away. When you start carving some food, go do something that keeps your hands busy!

Busy hands can't reach for food!!

I'm usually pretty good. When I do have spluges though, they're pretty bad. LOL For example, one time I ate 12 donuts over a period of about 2 hours. :O

I go to Weight Watchers (actually I work for them and I'm a work in progress) and after I weigh in on a Tuesday night I give myself permission to eat anything I like. I never go overboard but it's a guilt free treat that I really look forward to once a week.

Oooh, but a couple squares of high quality dark chocolate with a high cacao percentage and no dairy added is quite good for you - low fat, low sugar and high in antioxidants! Fixes me right up!

My splurge is cookies! I allow myself one a day so I don't feel deprived and still get my fix
