Hi there
My partner and I would like to start trying for a baby from next july, we've chosen to start that far away because I would like to lose weight before I fall pregnant.
I'm 5' 8" and weigh 220lbs

does anyone have any ideas on the best way for me to lose weight but still be healthy for pregnncy? I've calculated that my ideal weight is 170lbs so I would like to lose 50lbs.
I've been told that some exercise, like kickboxing, can be dangerous when you're trying for a baby, can anyone confirm this and what sort of exercise should I be doing? Most of the weight is around my tummy/bum/thighs area
