Default best workout & gym trax for my ipod?

... I need new music: mostly for running but also for a full gym workout...

I need some suggestions as I'm tired of listening to the same old stuff.

I tend to buy stuff on itunes, not really wanting to mess my computer with the pirate programs.......

Default if you're using itunes....

yeah I agree, it's just a lot easier to download from itunes then mess around with other stuff.....

If you're looking for workout/gym music on itunes, here’s a shortcut -- type “EURO CLUB HITS” into to search....

look for the album series with the big black logo and the different colored backgrounds...

I listen to a lot of "mashups" - they're usually fast paced and combine songs you already know in cool ways. If you google mash ups or bootlegs you'll find a lot of sites that have them.

Depending what you like I love the foo fighters and CCR, I am not a fan of pop music, so I try and find fast rock, or even slow songs that just " take me away" like... ABBA,lol
I know I am a dork

I'm not a huge fan of pop or dance music, but I do love working out to Sean Paul tracks or Janet Jackson! If you like techno, it'd be pretty easy to search for some on iTunes. Techno usually has some pretty awesome beats.

I mainly listen to fast/hard rock - especially when lifting.

Honestly, turn on a music channel, and start writing down songs you like ... anything with a quick beat will keep you moving.

btw, missmelinda, Sean Paul isn't "pop" or "dance" ... he's concidered a hip-hop artist.

Fast classic rock is always good for a workout. I like the Clash, Cream (or anything fast by Clapton and co.), and the Rolling Stones. A lot of the 60s and 70s pop works. I have a trainer who recommends choosing songs with beats equal to or faster than your goal heart rate (beats per minute). You will automatically adjust your workout rate to the rate at which the song plays.

Default Music

I've been growing bored with my music while working out too. I was listening to Pink's I'm Not Dead album all the time. It's great for working out, but I needed more. So, I started downloading songs I like from the Body Pump classes I do. Here are a few artists that I like: All American Rejects, Finger Eleven, Freestylers, Good Charlotte, and Linkin Park. It's amazing how much more pumped up I get when I like my music.
