5K results

I did it! I did the 5K! It was not the time I had hoped for, but I did it.
My time was 42.33. My goal was 35 before surgery so I was not too far off. Definantly room for improvement, but I got out there and I completed it. I have come along from barely being able to walk a mile to completing a 5k. This just tells me that I can do whatever I put my mind to. And the more dedicated I am to my training the more I can succeed. I am looking forward to pushing forward and doing my 1st triathlon on August 23rd in Lee's Summit, MO. It is just outisde Kansas City.

Congratulations Tonya!

Not something I would have ever considered doing...and it shows your progress in terms that you can really relate to, next...triathalon, we need a little swimmer and cyclist smiley...keep up the good work, and more importantly keep having fun with it, the more fun it is the more difficult it is for people to get in our way and demotivate us
