lower abs? HELP!

Hiya guys,

im really struggling to make good progress with my lower abs.

i began approx 3 months ago doing reverse crunches at the beginning of my work out, and although its slightllllly more defined and i can certainly feel that it feels stronger and harder. its just not quite as great as id like lol

ive started adding weights to my chest, increasing by a kg every week. is this the way to go? i do two sets of 12 reps. i try to alter the tempo at times but generally do it very slowly.

maybe i expected miracles in three months! but i would have thought 3 months hard work id be defined by now! it has gotton better as i said, so is it a gradual thing i suppose im asking?

thanks for any replies

Lower abs are the hardest to target and do take a lot of time to develop...here's something else you could try:

Strangely, I'm also giving these exercises a go, I find looking into divers/gymnasts routines for abs work is really helpful...considering the awesome abs they have...I want some
