I'm still alive & kicking. It's been a while.
All the bushfire stress has been getting in the way of fun things like coming on here. But I have made it to the gym every day! (even if I did spend a couple of them very distracted and watching the news)
I ran for 10 mins on 7.5 today, have decided to get my time up to 20 then 30 then 45. I also cycled 10km today nice and fast on random with lots of nice hills. Learning to love cardio for more weightloss.
I've been trying to sort out my wrists so I went to an osteopath. He did some funny massage stuff that made them hurt a lot. And told me that I should get the test for carpel tunnel done because he thinks thats what I have. In both wrists, with added tendonitis on the muscle on the top of my forearm. Ah the fun, does anyone else have it?? I'm a little scared, I'm only 20 and breaking already!
The weightloss is going well though, I'm happy even if it is a little slow. Might put up my new weight and measurements tomorrow. The body's feeling good even if it is a little tired and stressed! Nothing a good night's sleep can't fix- now I've just got to get rid of the nightmares about the fires :S

Clear up of some areas is going well, the others are still burning. Lots of fires still ripping through victoria. Apparently tomorrow is going to be 150km/h winds and in the 30's again, very bad fire weather, scary. Especially as my partner works in the hills where a big fire's still burning.

I'm still at the gym everyday so I'm getting there slowly, weighed myself today.
was 95, now 90kgs. Waist was 111cms, now 102cms. Hips were 117cms, now 112cms.

All is well, still working hard. Am in the 80's again, can't wait to be in the 70's now.
Back at uni, getting sick, getting up in the mornings is getting harder!
I ran the fastest I've ever run on the treadmill yesterday- 13km/hr, I'm very happy with that, maybe more so the fact that I actually enjoyed my sprint! And I was just wondering how fast everyone else can run?

Not really sure how fast I could run, since I suffer with an unstable kneecap, so it doesn't really hold up to running...I do use a stepper, however, and get to do 88 foot movements in 20 seconds, I think (it's in my log somewhere); but 13km/h is great, a good way to save money on pertrol/gas and still get to your destination quicker than a car driver stuck in a jam

Back at uni, doing my honours degree. It's taking up much more time than I expected, It's getting increasingly hard to fit in meals and as much time as I would like at the gym, starting to wish it opened before 6.
I'm looking into Dymatize, my cousin swears by it and he looks like he could lift a house. So to combat my lack of energy and protein I thought I'd give it a try. I've been having problems with lactose recently so I think I'll be mixing it with water. Does anyone use it? Does it taste ok?
Does this mean anything to anyone? I don't understand it very well.
Dymatize elite-
ALL NATURAL ELITE WHEY PROTEIN is created from the purest form of whey protein available. Each serving contains 0g of Trans Fat and 0g of Sugar, while tasting great and delivering 48% of the FDA's recommended daily value of Protein. No artificial flavors, sweetners, MSG, or Aspertame are added to Elite All Natural.
ALL NATURAL ELITE WHEY PROTEIN contains very high levels of Anti-Catabolic Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs). These BCAAs are an excellent source of Extra Muscle Fuel which may be depleted during intense training. These same BCAAs are used to repair and help with the growth of cells. They are utilized by muscle cells quickly after an intense workout and are an important part of an effective diet.

Painting's great exercise, I just spent 2 days painting my studio and my arms are feeling great! and going up and down the ladder all day gave my legs a lovely burn too.
I turned 21, had a slice of cake and a few drinks, feeling a little bad even though I know I shouldn't. Back to all things healthy now.
Apparently I have carpal tunnel in both wrists, forked out for health insurance so I can get the surgery after the 12 month waiting period. Anyone had it?
Hope everyone's going along nicely. I ran up an incline today! Miracles do happen

Got a new routine at the gym. It's ridiculously hard- I LOVE it! I was told to use different grips to protect my wrists, putting my thumb around the same side of the dumbbell as the rest of my fingers.
I'll put a copy of it up here soon- I can't remember it at the moment but I'm still sore from yesterday so I know it's good!
Happy easter everyone have a little egg- it's worth it!

It's been too long. Time for an update.
I'm sitting at 78kgs at the moment, still trying to lose fat and keep fit. I'm happy with the amount of muscle I'm carrying, now I just need to keep it there and make it visible!
I'm doing my weights routine every second day, less cardio on those days and more on the others and pilates twice a week.
Diet is the thing I'm struggling with at the moment.
