No, no trainer, no coach. I started home training about 7+ years ago using the book "Sculpting Her Body Perfect" and have used that as my giude mostly, although I take a good look around at articels on the web as well and of course forums whcih are always useful for info even if you're not a member

Update!
I had my first personal training session today. It was great. He pushed me harder than I usually work and there was much more variety than my usual routine. I had great fun/got exhausted boxing among other things. I burnt 1000 calories and an hour session, actually I think we went over a little, maybe and hour 15, but it went really quickly, felt more like 30. I think i'll do it again if I can afford the treat.

Caffeine is strange. I tried them... not the recommended dose, just one and whilst it makes my heart rate higher it also makes me feel light headed and nauseous so I don't feel like I can concentrate as hard as I need to. It also gives me the shakes and makes my asthma kick in faster. All in all I think I can work out better without them. Although I'm sure the nausea would lead to weight loss I don't really think not eating is the way to go. I guess it was worth a try once.

As for my weight, it's gone up! I'm now sitting at 80 again. Whilst i'm annoyed at the figure i'm feeling more toned and stronger so I guess thats the real point. My waist measurement is 36.5 and needs to be 33 to fit into my wedding dress so hopefully all the muscle I'm strengthening/increasing will help burn that up *fingers crossed* I've been trying to increase my water intake but I'm having trouble, how much does everyone else drink a day? I'm aiming for 3L but I'm struggling getting to 2!

Great effort with the trainer

I usually drink between 1 litre and 3 litres depending on my activity level

I only drink between 1 litre to 2 litres a day; 2 litres during the warmer weather, but generally it's a litre or just over daily.

My lil sis sent me a piece of info, some years ago, in which it stated that this 2 litre mark for everyone is not necessarily accurate because they don't take people's height etc into the equation; and it stands to reason that a bigger person will need more fluid, but us shorter people may not. Plus, I saw a tv documentary in which they had twins do an experiment for a month; one drank the 2 litres a day, and the other stuck with their normal 500 ml daily intake (which is what both normally drank). At the end of the experiment, neither had increased or decreased levels of fluids in their system, hair samples etc...so in effect the extra water made no significant difference. What people forget is that water is found in a lot of foods as well, so if a person is eating healthy then the veg/fruits etc will have fluid content that people are not adding up....so 2 litres of water on top of that really bumps fluid intake closer to 3 litres without the need to drink extra...
