Project 54

Goal: By my 54th birthday at the end of May I plan on being at least 5 pounds lighter (BMI=25 or less) or the equivalent of having my clothes fit loose or drop body fat percentage by 3 percentage points. Currently 146 lbs at 39% BF (according to my not so great scale).

Plan:

Stick to Simply Filling food plan.

Regular workouts:

3/15 Cardio 30 mins
3/16 Gym workout A1

to be continued...

Thanks Trusylver!

Update:

3/18 -30 mins Cardio

My legs are sore from Monday's workout--stepping up onto a 18" step for 2 set of 10 reps alternating legs and various squats.

I've just realised what the 3/18 is, its the date!
Sorry I'm a bit slow today.
Sounds good so far.
What time of day is the cardio?

You go for it, you can reach your goal by end of May...stepping is great, that's what I do the most of in my routine, and always find it enjoyable.

Ha! Yes, it always throws me off that the date is reversed between the US and the rest of the world...

I workout in the evenings--not morning people. We work until 7:00 p.m.--my DH is a chiropractor and I run the office. Our son just went off to college so it is easier for me to work out now since no one is home waiting for me--like a 19 year old was home waiting for Mom--not!

DH is goes to the gym every night after work--very hardcore, unlike me who needs to play games with myself to stay motivated. You ladies are a BIG help already! Kim

So the experts etll us if you do the same workout before breakfast you burn more fat than at anyother time of day.
If theres any chance of getting up 15min early and squeezing a quick work out in the mornings?????

Hi Lazylifter - That's interesting, but it won't happen.

Went out for a basket of fish & chips (only ate 1/2 the chips) and an appletini last night which is NOT on plan, but I'm back on track today. We worked a long day yesterday and my husband & I haven't done that in ages so it was fun.
