Hi there and welcome, from a Colorado neighbor to your southwest . . . I started my resolution early, and actually began right after Thanksgiving. I can't believe I'm still at it now here in Feb. My best advice is to do whatever you have to in order to stick with it. If you have a bad day, don't let it destroy your goals. Just jump back on the wagon right away. You'll be glad you did. I always used to let a bad day spiral out of control and put me on a bad path. Now I'm just forgiving myself and making sure I get back in the gym and back on a good track right away, as far as my diet goes. I'm no expert, by any means, but have shed about 15 lbs so far and my energy level has skyrocketed. I have about 15 lbs left to go, but am already feeling very healthy. Be sure to do cardio activity whenever your schedule allows. And if you can, weights at least a couple times a week. I joined my local rec center and hired a personal trainer for 3 sessions just to get me started. Best thing I ever did, because before that, I didn't even know how to use those machines effectively. Good luck, and don't give up. You can do it if I can.
