Default Midsection exercises??

I'm 42 years old and have been working out 3x per week for the past 3 years (with a trainer). Although I have dropped down to a size 6 in my jeans (from a 12!!), I can't seem to get rid of the midsection rolls! I tend to look for blowsy shirts because that section looks terrible! Should I increase cardio to 5-6 times per week? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!

considering your age, working out 5-6 times a week may not be good for you. try to do more muscle training on your midsection.

Also try incorporating exercises for the obliques. A great one is similar to a plank pose, only stretch out to your sides. Adding some Yoga or Pilates specific moves for the Core area will also help you. Since you're a size 6, I'm guessing you don't have a large body fat composition. Ruthie is right that it's now more of a muscle development stage for you.

Default Sit-ups

do sit-ups...can not say it enough...and throw in some jumping jacks...I do 200 before breakfast...another 100 before dinner...and if I am late and can't sleep or wake up in the middle of the night and cant sleep I do as many situps as I can bare...takes a while to build up...I started with 10! Best wishes and congratulations on your accomplishments!
