I've been lurking for a day or so and I am finally taking the plunge and saying hi! I'm a grad student in my 20s, and I am working on making regular exercise a habit for me - in the past when life got crazy, exercise was the first thing to go - and often didnt come back for months.
I have three health goals:
- regular workouts - at least three times a week
- reduce body fat percentage - get leaner
- make a gradual but permenant changes to the way I eat - I want to eat a better diet and overcome emotional eating.
I've already been going to the gym for a couple of week, and have been working with a trainer there - it's expensive for me, but worth it for now. Once I get more established in my exercise habits (and more confident with the scary looking pieces of equipment in the gym) I want to be able to design my own workouts.
