hey I'm new My name is Katy and I've been trying to lose weight for awhile, I was basically succeeding up until a month ago, I'm stuck at 126 pounds! I also can't get any better at exercising, I go for run, can't ever improve my time, lift weights yet don't get much stronger and swim but can't get faster. I guess I've just joined in to learn as much about fitness as I can, hope I can have fun while doing it

Welcome Ducati! In lifting weights that is called a sticky point. Using different excercises but impacting the same areas you want to work might help.In lifting weights higher weight and fewer reps. will increase strength. Set weight where you can only do sets of 3 or 4 reps to start and work toward 10 reps per set, taking your time not pushing too hard.

Hi Katy,
Welcome to the forum ! I think first thing you need to succeed in your weight loss program is motivation. Second is the food you eat. Then combine it with the right exercises. Hope you will enjoy your joining in this forum !

Trying to lose weight at 126 pounds -- I wish had that problem!!
