Thumbs up Hello all!

Hello everyone! I'm a 19 (almost 20) year old college sophomore. I started trying to lose weight when I graduated high school about a year and a half ago. I was 240 lbs, a size 24, at the time.

At the moment, I've lost 45 lbs and am now 195 lbs size 16. Eventually I wanna be less than 150 lbs (half way there! ^_^)

Being on the lower side of 200 lbs has made me really proud, and I've really started to kick up my exercising. Searching online I found this site and I really love it so far

About me - I'm a Materials Engineering Major. I listen to a lot of Asian pop music, and I speak Japanese with some fluency, but recently I've been starting to get back into American music as well, mostly pop and rock. I love to dance, although I have no training. Korean hip-hop/pop is my fav. dance style.

I hope to see you guys around the forum, I definitely want to hang here for a while ^_^

Thanks for the welcome ^_^

Korean hip hop is basically hip pop music from Korean. It sounds like Hip Hop like you would hear in America or other places, but the style is pretty unique and the dancing is incredible.

Some examples on youtube -

The artist that got me into K-pop is BoA. This song is fun to dance to, I learned all the dance moves and can do it pretty fluidly now, though not nearly as well as she can ^_^'' YouTube - 2004.09.09 - KMTV B-Side Show Tank: BoA - "Spark"

Se7en, one of my favorite artists ever, singing my favorite ballad song ('Lalala') and then dancing to another awesome song (I know') <3 - YouTube - 30.12.06[Live] Se7en - La La La + I Know - KBS Gayo Festival

I'm also learning So Nyeo Shi Dae's 'Into the New World' and CSJH's 'One more time, Ok?' dances. There's a lot of really good Korean artists. ^_^''
