Workout schedule

I just started going to the gym and really don't have a routine. I do the elliptical for 30 min and switch off on doing arms and legs. I want to tone my legs, butt and abs. Any suggestions?

hey! i would suggest you do abs everytime you go to the gym, doing at least 3 different excersices. i like to buy womens health magazines for ab excersies, or even look online. as for the butt, try walking lunges, jumping squats, and try the stairmaster! i recently started using it, and my butt feels firmer already. also the bike on the hill program works my buns pretty good. hope that helps!

abs are like every other muscle group and do best with rest days for muscle recovery. working abs every day does not make them pop. cardio is what will essentially give you more definition but to build that muscle you don't make more gains by working them every day. you have to develop a well rounded body building schedule that rotates muscle groups including abs

wouldn't mind getting to 125 lb. if it's healthy muscle!

Its worth having a go on the weights machines, especially the abduction and adduction machines which tone the sides of your legs.
