Default Turbo Jam

Hi, I'm not sure if there was already a thread on this or not, because I am new here...but...I wanted to ask anyone if they had tried Turbo Jam for weight loss and toning? I bought it the other day, and I have to say it is definitely one of the more fun videos out there. The instructor is really great, keeps you pumped up and it's fun. If you haven't tried it, you should. Maybe see if you can rent it at the Video Store or something before you go out an buy it.

Thought I'd share this with you.

Never heard of it. What and who is it? I really need more cardio in my routine. I work out with weights but I don't put a lot of cardio into my workouts because I HATE the treadmill because it kills my knees and I get bored on the elliptical. I have a cardio plan, but I would really like to change things up a bit.

Hi DeeDee,

You can go to Turbojam.com and check it out, or honestly you can find it on Paid Programming some early mornings. The instructor's name is Chalene and she is just so jumpy and pumped up. A really good instructor. I am not much on videos and ordering stuff, but in my field of work, I have to stay updated on this stuff. I don't care much for treadmills and ellipticals either, as they get boring. So far, I am not bored with this video. Love the Ab Jam one.

Cost for whole package: $78
What this price includes: 5 VHS or 2 DVD's, weighted workout gloves, recipes, journal to track your progress, measuring tape and shipping.

Check out their website, it'll tell you more.

I think it would be more fun doing it with a group, not at home by yourself

Most gyms have classes that are fun

Yeah, I've heard that some gyms are doing it as a class now. True, it would be a lot of fun with a group, but I do it when my 4 month old is playing beside me and she watches me and the TV, and thinks it's hilarious! Keeps her entertained, and whoops my behind back into shape!

I checked out the site and I am sold, I love Kickboxing and my gym no longer offers it. I have been looking for a kickboxing video, Thanks so much for letting me know about this. Have you seen any results yet?

Hey DeeDee,

Yep, I sure have seen some results. My abs were so sore at first, but it's getting better. I have so much more energy too. When I miss day I feel so awful, but unfortunately my schedule is just messed up and my 4 month old won't let me (or my other 3 kids), lol.

I am in the process of trying to get hubby to do it with me. He acts like he is so sure it's a piece of cake. Personally I think he's scared, hehe.

Glad you checked it out and I hope you have as much fun with it as I am. Let me know how it goes!

Default YES it does work!

I've been doing Turbo Jam for almost 4 weeks now, and i've been getting compliments and noticeable changes. it definitely works. Eat healthier and smaller portions. you can still eat the snacks just work out harder on that day! In addition, i find doing turbo jam twice fri sat and sun and once mon - thur is best. i find that we tend to indulge in the goodness of food on the weekends =).
