Hi. I've dropped about 7 lbs in the last 2 weeks since I've switched birth control pills. It helped a lot. I am on medication for anxiety (Prozac) and ADHD (Concerta), too. I hate being on drugs like that, but they help with stress.
I'm 5' 5" and 127 lbs currently.
My ideal weight is around 118. I would love to get back to that, but since I've been on birth control, it seems like I just can't get there.
When I graduated college and started working (5 yrs ago) I put on some weight. I was also on Paxil at the time, so I think that had a lot to do with it. Anyway, most of my college life I was around 135. When I started Paxil, I went up to 160 in a matter of 5 months. Once I started working out, I lost 42 lbs (down to 118) in about a year.
But like I said, I 've been having trouble getting back there since the bc pills.
I started running about 2 years ago, but in the last 5 months, I hurt my knee so I had to stop. I still work out at the gym on the elliptical machine, treadmill, lift weights, and I take body sculpting classes 3 days a week. I eat pretty decently, but I know I could probably do a lot better. I think the stress gets in the way a lot and makes me have uncontrollable sugar rushes...especially at night

I'm assuming that is sabotaging a lot of my "working out" during the day.
I guess I just need more motivation and to be able to relax more, so that is why I decided to try this out.
