Lose Weight Naturally

There are two reasons why people gain weight. The older one gets, the more these two reasons play a role in becoming overweight and developing health problems.

I am 50 and make a very conscious effort every single day to avoid weight and health issues.

The first reason that I believe people have problems with weight gain is because they eat the wrong foods. It is far easier to eat processed foods that have the fiber and nutrients removed though processing. Just look in your kitchen cupboards and your fridge and see how much food is in its natural form verses being in some type of altered form. The more years that go by eating the wrong foods, the worse the weight problem becomes.

The second reason many people have a weight issue is very simply because they just do not get enough exercise of any sort. Any exercise is better than none. Forget the reality shows on TV and get outside and walk.

If one eats the right foods and exercises everyday, the odds of being overweight and in bad health is reduced greatly.

Simple but very true! Fitness Over 50, it's important

Hi RWF,

Thanx for the weight loss tips. They were very informative, especially the ones related to using a tape measure vs weighing yourself; and the use of math where 1 less bowl of ice cream can say you 10 minutes of working out...

Regards,
FatBurn

To get optimum weight loss results you have to do 2 major things. First you need to understand how to lose weight and second you need to appreciate the fact that for fast results you need to both take care of your diet and exercise
