How to recover from spinning...

Decided to do a spinning class with a friend of mine a couple of days ago and I am now getting pains in muscles I didn't even know existed...I go to the gym regularly but have never done such an intense cardio work out. Is this normal???

I read somewhere you should take vitamin C before you go to bed if you've done a tough session.
I take a tiny bit of soluable asprin with soluable Vitamin C (500mg) and have a warm bath.
But if you do something new thats always gonna hurt a bit, if its really bad you probably over did it.
