My Progress (so far).

Two weeks now since I decided to kick myself into touch once and for all.

I've been exercising more, just walking so far, doing at least 30 minutes brisk walking 6 days a week.

I'm eating well, lots of veg and fruit, lean chicken, oily fish. I never really ate potatoes or bread very often so my carbs tend to come from wholewheat pasta a couple of times a week and from the veg and pulses and from wholewheat cereal for breakfast.
I'm eating approx, 1500-2000 calories a day, not exactly counting calories, just being aware of what I'm eating.

I've cut out between meal snacks almost completely unless I feel really hungry more than an hour before a meal and then I'll have a piece of fruit. This has only happened a couple of times though.

So far in the first two weeks I've lost 9lbs and my energy levels are through the roof, my skin has improved and my mood is lifted.

I try and do my walking before breakfast and nthen most days I will walk again later.
I have 4 cups of green tea a day and have been taking apple cyder vinegar.

Sounds like you've got a really logical approach, pleased to hear your feeling good about it as well.
Well done

Things are still going well for me, I've now lost a total of 15 pounds. My energy levels have risen a lot and I generally feel much healthier.

I've signed up to join my local gym which luckily is just 5 minutes walk from my house and I start there on the 9th of April. I get free use of the gym, pool and as many workout classes as I want to do for £28 per month which is a great saving over paying to use the facilities individually as I have in the past (having really only used the pool before at £2.80 a time.)

It's now 8 weeks since I made this change for the better and I feel better than I remember feeling since I've been an adult. I was 282 pounds 8 weeks ago and now I'm 260 pounds.
I'm loving the gym and going twice a week. I'm tempted to add in another visit but I'll wait until my six week asessment with my instructior and ask his advice then. I'm going to add in one or two workout classes a week in addition.
I'm still walking at least 6 days a week. 55 minutes or so before breakfast on the days I don't go to the gym and 30-40 minutes first thing on the days when I'm at the gym.
