Default getting definition belly wont budge

Good morning Ladies,
I frequent this website quite often, I get AOT of VALUABLE advice.
My diet is reasonable, protein(eggs lean meats) fresh veggies and fruit, low fat yogurt, drink mostly water(smart water), free weights/some machine (push and pull exercises with these)3Xweek,Cardio (tread,efx,AMT)2Xweek, 2 days rest (this schedule varies from day to day in other words I like the idea of muscle confusion, so the routines vary and days vary.
I CANNOT GET RID OF THE POOCH!!!.
I am fortunate I work at a fitness equipment manufacturer and have access to fitness equipment there, as well as a membership to a gym, I am not a fanatic by any stretch, I now weigh 140!! I am only 5`3!!.(measurement thighs 18", hips 36", waist 31",calves 12", chest 34", arms 10", I really would like some advice on the hip section!! I understand that the waist line will follow.
Please help!!!

Um...I hear you. My stomach looked better last summer than this summer and the missing link is...pilates. I swear pilates works your abs better than anything else. The exercise called the Corkscrew, of course The Hundred and the one where you lie down with your feet up in the air and slowly lower them down almost to the ground and bring them up again (can't think of the name). Every exercise in Pilates strengthens and tones your core from top to bottom. I am talking myself into starting up again. I highly recommend it

Oh-of course if you have extra fat you will definitly need to do a lot of cardio to burn that off before your abs can show through. Running seems to be the best cardio out there. Good luck

Default Working the abs

Hi,

Showing your abs is very difficult, you need to get lean and strip your body fat. I find interval training for half hour in the mornings before breakfast really help. I do one minute as fast as i can on resistance 6 and then an active recovery minute on leveol 10. I do this for half hour. The high intense bursts of energy keep your motabolism going faster for longer during the day and really burns into your fat stores.

Other cardio that works is the stair master. Half and hour on level 15. It really makes you sweat. Spin is also a good fat burning class.

Good ab workouts are roll outs and incline bench crunches. Try also the plank with feet on bench and arms balancing on the swiss ball. Leg raises are wicked for the lower abdominals.

Try also drinking green tea 3 times a day this helps get rid of water retention.

Make sure you get enough protein in your diet.I drink protein shakes after my workouts this helps to repair your muscles. Alot of protein shakes taste awful ut the one i use tastes great and is just like a milkshake. I use the PHD range and buy it really cheap from solo supplements.
