Yeah, changing the routine tends to give the body something to think about and gets it to adapt, which is what we need to be vigilant about...when the body gets used to something, get sneaky and trick it
I also read that men can exercise for 20 minutes and burn fat off, whereas us women have to exercise for 20 minutes
before the fat burn begins...it's not fair!!!!! *crying my eyes out*
Although, theoretically I believe this (because obviously it's in a few documents), I'm not sure it's entirely accurate...so, this year I'm going to focus on 2 sessions of short cardio but HIIT, which are only 20 minutes duration and see what happens. Of course, the thing is, since I cycle to and from college and walk/cycle everywhere else (no car) that may influence the weight loss because all the walking/cycling are cardio which may last longer than the 20 minutes, particularly the walking anyway.
