Punching Bag

Wow, what a stress reliever! I tried this for the first time today and let me tell you -- I felt the burn. This is a great way to get in shape, mainly because it doesn't feel like a boring exercise -- you're having fun, the motions aren't robotic like running or sitting on a bike.

Ask Santa to buy you one! I'm asking my hubby

Where would you buy a punching bag like this? I can't think I've ever seen one in Wal-Mart or Target... we don't have any other sports stores around us.

No, I don't use one. How much do they cost? Is it easy to setup?

I'm not sure how much it would cost in other countries but in Australia I think we got ours for about 20-30 dollars.

They're pretty easy to set up, ours came with a hook so we just tie a rope to the cubby house and then hook it into that however what ever you attach it to I would make sure it is strong. Maybe a steel support under a veranda or someting?

That's pretty cheap. I have a garage, I guess that'd work. The must be pretty heavy.

They are pretty heavy, mostly bulky and hard to move really because they're hard to hold but the main reason for making sure they're attached to something firmly is because of the force that you'd be putting on it when you're punching and kicking it ect.

We have a carport, do you think it'd hang off of that? It's a metal roof..

Yeah that should work, just make sure you hang it off one of the stronger beans, probably one that is on like the edge of the carport preferably not in the middle.
