And, many women cannot afford to go to the gym. Here are some tips and exercises that will allow you to slim down and tone up your legs right from your own home. This will be a three part series looking at how to get sexy legs right in your own home. It ain’t that hard!

In order to get any/all of these things you need a few elements. And, really, it is like any body part that you want to tone or shape up a little bit. You need:
And, taking the lists one step further, to get these things you really only need two elements;
So, in this post I will look at all the pieces of equipment you will need at home in order to perform these effective workouts as well as looking at why technique is of utmost importance.
There are not many pieces of equipment you will need for this workout. I often perform it myself without anything but my own body.
However, some small bits and pieces will enhance the workout making it slightly better - espeically for those who are experienced leg and butt trainers!

Leg training can lead to injured knees, ankles, hips and backs if it is done poorly. I have, myself, injured my knees pumping out hundreds of jumping squats and I know at least one of my loyal readers (you know who you are!) who has hurt their knee doing weights lunges.
If you want to make progress with your muscle development and muscle toning then technique needs to become your best friend. Ask any professional sports player, martial artist… anyone who does something well for that matter and they will tell you that the basic technique is the most important thing. And, if they don’t tell you that then they are cheating!
Weight training and bodybuilding is exactly the same. If you have a perfect technique you will make progress so much quicker than if you use lots of weight or do lots of repetitions with poor technique.
The reason is quite simple. Weight training exercises are designed to isolate or stress one or two particular muscles. You need to keep the motion and the form tight throughout the whole motion if you are to stress that muscle sufficiently. If you start speeding things up or cheating then you take the emphasis off of the targetted muscle and shift it elsewhere. This is defeating the purpose of weight training so don’t do it!
