The best gym equipment for women’s abs workouts

Training your abs at the gym is a little bit like eating at an all you can eat diner. There is so much to choose from and you never know what you should try next.

However, the fact that there is so many different options for your abs is a good thing as it means you can approach your training with variety. This is very important. It also means you can try a lot of exercises until you find one you like and that works for you. This is also important.

I have been experimenting with my own and my client’s abs workouts for years and in that time have come up with a few favorites. One of them, however, stand out above all the rest.

The Decline Abs Bench
The decline abs bench is not really a machine but it is a very valuable piece of abdominal working gym equipment. I spend most of my abs workouts on the decline bench and feel it is the best tool for developing a firm, toned and sexy midsection.

Abs bench

The decline abs bench is a magnificent way to train your abs. If you have an adjustable one at your gym it is even better. This allows you to progress gradually as you can start on a low decline and gradually increase it.

Once you become more expert at training your abs you can add different techniques like:

so that you can get a more overall abdominal development.

If you haven’t been trying using the decline bench at your gym I highly suggest you give it a go. Use it early on in your abs session as it will test your muscles a lot more than a regular flat crunch.
