Hotel Room Holiday Workouts

I’m away in India right now and thinking more about how I can workout in my hotel room. Here are some quick ideas for a hotel room holiday workout.

Hotel Room Holiday Workouts

Here are some things I have done or plan to do since I’ve been away on my holiday.

  1. Walk everywhere
    In India it is so temping to just take a rickshaw or txi everywhere because it is so cheap. However, I find I can get a good workout from just walking to most of my destinations.
  2. Tricep Dips on the bed
    This is an old favorite of mine. You can get a great triceps workout by just placing your feet on a chair and doing some tricep dips on the end of your bed.
    Tricep dips are good enough to be a whole workout so perform a few sets of different paces and reps and after 20 minutes your arms will be burning.
  3. Shadow boxing
    In your hotel room there is enough space to get a full on cardio workout. Simply spend 30 minutes before breakfast going over your boxing moves and pretending you are in a real boxing match. Keep your muscles loose and don’t fully extend so as to avoid hurting your joints.
