Do you want to look like a celebrity?

Celebrity Fitness Goals
I have often wondered whether my readers want to look like celebrities or whether their fitness goals are more health orientated. I decided to write this post to try and guage the general feeling of my female readers and get their views on the topic.

So the questions is:

Do you want to look like any of these famous people?

OR

Are you not interested in how other people look and are aiming for different goals?

Famous Figures
Watching television, listening to radio and reading on the interenet one is bound to be struck by the amount of attention famous people’s diet and fitness programs get. Every day we hear about new diets they are trying, new trainers they have or something else they are doing to get sexy.

Has anyone tried any of these diets or followed their idol’s diet program?

Christina Aguilera (above) has been known to take a more balanced approach to fitness and health with high protein type diets.

On the other hand, Beyonce has recently come under fire for getting lean by using a diet consisting only of grapefruits and some other disgusting food that would no doubt make anyone unhealthy.

And, we are forever hearing about Madonna’s pilates and yoga workouts as well as Janet Jackson spending hundreds of hours a week on a treadmill to get thin.

Are you interested in looking like any of these people or is your goal different?

Eh... not so much said:Most celebrities are way too skinny for my taste. I don't think I could look like them and be healthy at the same time. I'd like to be the buffest, strongest and slimmest version of myself that I could be.
Swan said:I think it's natural curiosity to wonder what these celebs do, but I think the more you learn about fitness the more you realize a healthy/balanced approach to fitness and weight loss is the way to go. It's more about lifestyle changes than the quick fix. If something these celebs do gives you ideas for your own improvement then go ahead and give it a try. But personally, I have no desire to look like them, I am more motivated by improving my own health, physic, strength, and endurance.

Healthy Diet said:You have to remember that these celebrities have tons of off time. They have personal chefs cooking every meal and making sure the food is healthy. The celebrities also have a fleet of personal trainers and yoga/pilates instructors that take them through each workout. They don't have to worry about fitness its all taken care of for them.

You can't compare people who work each day, raising a family to celebrities. I'm not saying that people can't get into shape, what I am saying is for celebrities its their jobs.

When celebrities do work believe me its not that hard. I have been on sets of movies and they are not the ones working hard or long. There is lots of down time with plenty of people charging around getting them whatever they can.

There is always the exception to the rule, I know some celebrities wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for hard work.

All I am saying is be realistic. If you had a fleet of fitness professionals and multi-million dollar production companies behind you doing the majority of the work, it would be hard to get out of shape.

Instead you have to do all the work and find time to incorporate it into your life. It is achievable and much easier then you think.
