
News came out yesterday that soy has been linked to cancer by new research. There have been rumors floating around for ages about this but now it seems there are some definite answers. Read on.
It seems that the Cancer Council of New South Wales (Australia) is backing this claim and is issuing official warnings.

“There is evidence to suggest that women with existing breast cancer or past breast cancer should be cautious in consuming large quantities of soy foods or phyto-oestrogen supplements.”

I wonder a little bit whether a soy can only be bad for those who have had or who have cancer. My mind seems to draw the link that if it is bad for them then it will be for others too. But, it seems this point has been addressed and I am wrong.
