The Complete Guide to Women's Health PART 1

Here is the complete guide to finally getting healthy and creating a better life for yourself and those around you. There is nothing more important than your health and in this series I will go over all the big essential points that you need to know in order to have perfect health. Enjoy!

Where to start?

When you decide that you need to make some health changes in your life the first few weeks can be a little bit overwhelming. You might go to a book store to look at some of the best sellers on diet and fitness and you might buy one of them. You follow it for a while but then after a few days or weeks you find your old habits kicking in.

However, the place you need to start, the first thing you need to know is that the most important thing you can do in the beginning is learn. You need to get as much information as possible about health, diet, fitness, etc. so that you never get lost on your way.

So, do not feel guilty if there is a book on health that you want to buy. Buy it. It might teach you something that saves you a lot of heart ache or money in the long run.

Here is an elaborate list of all the things a woman needs to do to get healthy:

1 - Take some time for yourself

So many women I know are running around after the family or the boss or both. They don’t stop until they go to sleep and they spend most of their sleeping hours worrying about the day gone by or the day coming up tomorrow. This is no way to live. While I admire what women do for the world I sometimes feel a little bit sorry for them as they seem to put everyone else before them. Don’t get me wrong, this is an excellent quality to have but if you find that there are aspects of your life that are suffering because of your wish to help others then you need to slow down a little bit.

This is especially true if the thing that is suffering is your health. If your health is not in tip top condition then you will not be able to help others as well as you could. This is a lesson I learned from the Buddha:

You have to help yourself before you help others. If you cannot help yourself then your wish to benefit others is just a joke!

I think this is very good advice for today’s modern and very busy woman!

If you need to take more time for yourself then there are a variety of things you can do to make more time:

There are plenty of ways that you can save time or create more of it. You just have to be creative and use your imagination. If you simply cannot find anytime for health then you are going to have to sacrifice some of your less essential chores.

2 - Give up smoking, alcohol and drugs

If you are serious about your health then having an addiction to one or more of these things is out of the question. In fact, as I have said before, if you have a smoking habit then you should leave this blog right now because you obviously do not care about your health or the health of those around you.

Giving up these three things is the number one most important step you can take to creating better health for yourself. Not only do these products harm you body in the worst possible ways, they also create bad systems and habits in your life so that you find it very hard to achieve anything. ALL of my friends who smoke are OVERWEIGHT. NONE of them could be bothered cooking a healthy meal or going to the gym. Their bad habits have seemingly taken over them.

Now, I am not saying everyone who smokes is a deadbeat. Far from it. I know many successful business people who smoke like a train. What I AM saying is that with one small step (and it is small) you can dramatically improve your health, lifestyle, success and avoid a very painful death. It is worth it. Do it now. Take a vow with yourself as your own witness to quit smoking by the end of the month.

3 - Eat fruit as a whole meal

So many women do not eay enough fruit and I can never figure out why. Fruit is an amazing gift from nature that will have your health boosted to new levels in a matter of days.

The list is practically endless. Fruit is so packed full of vitamins and minerals and is so well suited to the human digestive tract it is difficult to believe that we were ever meant to eat anything else! The benefits become particularly potent when you mix different fruits together and thus get the stocks of vitamins that each carries.
