Every woman should do one of these three internal forms of exercise. Too often in today’s modern world we focus on the external - the musles, the skin - and we ignore what is going on inside. However, tai chi and yoga use the internal energies and have been helping people for thousands of years. If you can mix the external (exercise and diet) with the internal (breathing, emotions and energy) then you will be on the road to perfect health.
I have heard of many stories of women who have cured their physical problems by working with their internal energies. When you perform these exercises you not only help your body but you help your mind and this, in turn, will have effects on your body. It keeps the organs and blood healthy and thus can assist in fighting off illness and tiredness.
The great thing about yoga and kung fu is that they work with the internal energy as well as shaping and toning your body. You will lose weight while you get extremely healthy and calm your mind. This should be reason enough for anyone to try it.
Exercising everyday is excellent but if you add a session or three of weight training then that is even better.
Weight training strengthens the muscles and the tendons and can help prevent joint damage and other injuries. It has also been shown to help against the symptoms of osteoporosis and other old age related afflictions.
One of the things I love about weight training is that it helps you look good while you are setting yourself up for the future. A little bit like earning a lot of money, you look good in your cars and suits and then when you are old you can live without having to work or worry about where the cash is going to come from. You might even be able to help people. In the same way, weight training helps you in the present with your physique and your bodily health as well as setting you up for an enjoyable and mobile old age. If you have a family history of heart problems then weight training should be a regular aspect of your life.
Although I am not convinced that multivitamin supplements do anything in the short therm there is evidence to suggest it can help prevent against certain afflictions in the future. Many people do report increased energy and better resistance to illness after only a matter of weeks but I am not so sure.
One thing we can be sure of, however, is that modern processed foods are not as nutritious as we’d like. This is the best argument for taking a quality multivitamin - you simply aren’t getting enough goodies from your food alone.
A bottle of multivitamins are about $10 to $20 depending on the quality. Considering that will last you for about a month or two it is a cheap investment, even if it doesn’t help that much. You spend more than that on coffee’s and drinks with friends.
Here is a multivitamin supplement brand that I use for it’s quality reputation among professional sports teams and trainers.
Conclusion
Although there are many more diet and health tips that I would like to mention I feel like if I put too many in the important ones will get diluted and not seem as important. For this reason I am going to stop here with these 10 essential women’s health tips. Maybe in the future I will write a more comprehensive list but for now I feel the basics are too important.
Try to make one of these changes per week until you are regularly implementing all of them. In the meantime, post a comment about any of your own health tips for the thousands of women who read this blog.
